One of disadvantages is the fact that there can be annoying glare and reflections on the screen because of glossy screen which makes graphics and movies more vivid. Because of the fact that the monitor is rather cheap it has decreased number of features. You will get DVI and VGA inputs but it lacks in HDMI and USB ports.
